The firework competition in San Luca Branca, a small village a few miles far from Potenza, has been a summer scheduled event for 15 years.
It is rather an important event in its own field and the best firework artisans from the South of Italy take part in it.
Every year thousands of people are attracted here by this ancient, but always fascinating show. In occasion of the competition, a musical band performs, some stands sell typical food, and a nice and merry atmosphere spreads around.
