Built in the XIX century on the Carmine Mountain, about 8 km far from Avigliano, this small Church guards the ‘Madonna degli Angeli’, particularly worshiped in this area.

Every year the statue of the Madonna is kept in this small Church only from the middle of July to the middle of September.

During these months thousands of devotees come in pilgrimage to the mountain to prey and worship the statue.

In the middle of September the statue is brought back to the village, in the Main Church (Church of Santa Maria del Carmine), where it is kept until the following summer.

On 16th of July it is shouldered on the mountain passing through the streets of the village, decorated for celebrating this event.
