This festival, that was called ‘Etnopollino’ until 2001, takes place in San Severino in summertime.

Since 1996 this festival has hosted more than 40 bands, more 50.000 members of the audience and has become one of the best known musical events in the South of Italy.

It is a meeting place for thousands of young people and is a prestigious stage for the artists whose musical productions are amongst the most significant in Italy, such as Avion Travel, Daniele Silvestri, Inti-Illimani, Almamegretta, Agricantus, Teresa De Sio, Modena City Ramblers, Eugenio Bennato and so on.

During the latest festivals it has been possible to listen to the so-called contemporary music alongside ethnic music, protagonist of the previous events. The choice of enlarging the range of productions at this festival has caused the new name of this event and has traced the path that the festival will follow from now on.
