The baths are another interesting milestone in this trip through the Venosa archaeological area.

They were a wellbeing centre, being the place were people used to take care of their bodies and could choose between training exercises and relaxing baths.

This complex had a training hall and several rooms differently heated, were several kinds of bath were possible.

The ‘frigidarium’ was for cold baths, the ‘tepidarium’ for hot baths and the ‘laconicum’ was a small room where to have a sauna.
