Every year in this village the Bean Festival is organised by the A.C.L.I. Club, the Pro-Loco, the Cooperative for the Defence of the Bean and by the Local Administration, following a general pattern that has lately been rather successful.

This Festival is held on 18th and 19th August and is composed by activities dedicated to discussions and by more informal moments, in which it is possible to taste the local traditional recipes, while having the famous bean soup.

Visitors to the festival are guided in an evocative gastronomic itinerary through the typical lanes of the village, where in several places in the old centre, small refreshment points are equipped with the collaboration of some of the most famous restaurants in the Valley.

Amongst the most appreciated recipes there are ‘trofie e fagioli’, ‘patate impastate con i fagioli’, ‘cavatelli e fagioli’, ‘lagane e fagioli’, ‘insalata di fagioli’, ‘riso e fagioli’, ‘fagioli e funghi porcini’, ‘zuppa di fagioli’, ‘cicoria e fagioli’ and ‘cotechino e fagioli’.
