The Cathedral of S. Nicola dates back to the X century.
As well as the Castle, it was seriously damaged by several earthquakes and is now being renovated.
The inside of the Church, with one nave, is characterised by three big chapels placed beyond the transept.
Two relevant works are amongst the painting that used to decorate this Church: the ‘Madonna del Rosario’ and the ‘Battesimo di Cristo’.
Its artistic heritage is now kept in several churches in the village.
