In the old centre, characterised by long and narrow streets, there are several palaces of noble families, having stone portals, richly decorated.
’Palazzo Navarra’ was built in the first half of the XVIII century, when, because of the urban development, the space between the old ‘Civita’ and the lowest hill was filled in. It has a majestic bulk, an elegant style and a rich portal with the family coat of arms.
‘Palazzo Boccia’ used to belong to a noble family and was recently given to the village for cultural and social purposes.
‘Palazzo Barrese’, at the back of the ancient walls, has a tower that is part of the old defence structure. It will shortly be renovated.
‘Palazzo Pignatelli’ has a very well-kept and majestic structure of the XVI century. It is site of the Town Hall and of the library. On the entrance vault of Palazzo Pignatelli there is a coat of arms and the inscription ‘Arma d’oro con tre pignate nere nel lambello pendente rosso’.
In the Council Hall the walls are decorated with paintings by Luigi Filippini and by Gino Canarino, painters from Marsiconovo.
